3.52. Error: Failed to set data Exception?

I am running EstiMate on one computer that has multiple logins: i.e. Adminstratior, user 1, user 2 etc. and I get the error Exception ERegistryException in module Vcl40.bpl at 000CB387. Failed to set data for 'First Time'.

EstiMate is trying to access the registry and set a value of 'First Time'. Depending on where the error is happening it may have different variants including failed to set data for 'shutdown' or 'help' It appears to be unable to do so perhaps due to the permissions of the user in question.

If the user does not have permissions to make registry changes then EstiMate may be failing to set the appropriate value. Try rebooting and checking into the permissions for this user.

I like the EstiMate program because I can present my customers with a clear and concise printed estimate. If they do not like the price I quoted, fine! I know with ESTIMATE it is the price we need to charge in our shop to be in business and yes have profit left! I see now why you say "stop using your head." I no longer have to give my customers that "far away look" when they ask: "how much is it?" With the ESTIMATE program I feel confident in my pricing "SYSTEM". I was able to "groom" all of my material costs into the ESTIMATE program and then let ESTIMATE coordinate all those costs I used to miss.
