3.65. EstiMate asks for disk 2, 3, etc. when backing up or restoring?

I am trying to restore a backup that I received from my office on my home machine. It prompts me to insert disk 2. As I don't have a disk and never saw the prompt before I need help. What does it mean. If I cancel out then my database cannot be read anymore?

The message means that your database is getting large so EstiMate needs to create an additional file to get it all backed up. Whenever you see the message press OK.

When you restore the data make sure that you have all files together in the same directory or folder so when you do the restore process EstiMate can find all the files necessary to do a complete restore.

As an example, lets say you are doing a backup and you named your backup file "estimate" (without the quotes). EstiMate asks for disk #2 and you press ok. The backup process completes and you press close.

What the backup utility has done is to create two files:

estimate.ebk and
estimate002.ebk

In order to restore the information you will need both files.
