4.35. How do I backup my data?

I want to backup my data so I don't lose anything if I have a computer crash or have to get a new computer. How do I backup my data?

To backup your data:

1. Click Management > backup-restore data files.
2. Click the backup button.
3. Choose a location to save the file.
4. Name the file and click save.

The choice of media to save it on is up to you, Floppy, CD, Removable Media or other.

Tip: If backing up to a floppy disk, consider making a duplicate backup on a 2nd floppy disk due to the fragile nature of floppy discs.

After a reformat, reinstall of windows, computer replacement or the like, you will want to re-install EstiMate and restore your data. The instructions for data restore are linked below:
