4.138. How do I price mounting with customer supplied digital prints?

My customers are bringing in digital prints and are requesting that our shop mount the prints on a variety of substrates. How do I do this in EstiMate?

Wide Format Inkjet Procedure:

Preliminary steps:
1. Click edit data files > ingredients > digital print media.
2. Click the button labeled 'new' and enter a description called <customer supplied>. Enter a price of zero and click the green OK checkmark to save
3. Click the green OK checkmark to exit the digital print media data base.
4. Click edit data files > ingredients > inkjet inks.
5. Click the button labeled 'new' and enter a description called 'None'(without the quotes). Enter a price of zero and click the green OK checkmark to save
6. Click the green OK checkmark to exit the inkjet inks data base.

Detailed instructions:

1. Click new estimate > add item > wide format inkjet. Input the quantity width and length of the prints being supplied by the customer.
2. Select <customer supplied> from the print media dropdown.
3. Select 'None' from the inkjet dropdown.
4. Click on the laminating and mounting tab and select a mounting material.
5. Click calculate total.

Note: look carefully at the production time. If it is inadequate to do the mounting, add more using general difficulty.
