Home → EstiMate Version 1 → How Do I... → How do I price painted signs in EstiMate?
1. Choose your substrate.
2. Check the painted checkbox and choose the number of coats you will be applying
3. Check the 'non-rectangular must be shaped' box if shaping is needed.
4. Adjust the overall complexity slider until the production time looks good.
NOTE: At this point, the only production time reflected is for painting and
shaping the sign because you have not indicated any vinyl coverage yet,
which is what the rest of the production time is based on, so you can
accurately gauge this part of the job.
5. Select your paint or paints from the 'vinyls paints and coverage' drop-down box. One example is the 'one-shot' paint that is in the database, but you can always add your own to the list by clicking on the book icon to the right of the drop down box.
6. Select your coverage for the paint.
7. Assuming your subjectives are set the way you like (pay special attention to the General Difficulty Level slider and the amount of production time generated), click 'calculate total' and accept the quote or make adjustments as necessary.
